Through our global network of branches, class sets, committees, and trustees, we remain committed to giving back to the school that shaped us.

    Who We Are

    The Ibadan City Academy Old Students’ Association (ICAOSA Global) is the official alumni body of Ibadan City Academy, established to unite past students of the school across generations and geographical boundaries.

    With branches across Nigeria and abroad, ICAOSA Global coordinates alumni affairs, oversees projects, and ensures a structured approach to giving back to our alma mater.

    ICAOSA operates through:

    • A Global Executive Council

    • A Board of Trustees

    • Statutory Committees

    • Recognized Branches

    • Class Set Coordinators

      • To promote unity and fellowship among Old Students worldwide

      • To support the academic and infrastructural development of Ibadan City Academy

      • To uphold the values, traditions, and legacy of the school

      • To provide mentorship and support to current students

      • To serve as a global voice for alumni engagement

    • To build a strong, united global alumni community committed to excellence, service, and sustainable development of Ibadan City Academy.

    Our Heritage

    Ibadan City Academy was founded at a time when Ibadan faced a shortage of educational institutions capable of preparing young men and women for commercial and civic responsibilities.

    The vision was conceived by Late Chief Timothy Lajide Oyesina, a renowned educationist and philanthropist, who sought to establish a school with a commercial bias, offering liberal and technical education alongside moral training.
